Huda Jawad speaking at Inside Government's one day conference

Huda Jawad, Nyon Process Manager, was invited to speak at Inside Government's conference on Preventing Violent Extremism and building cohesive societies to an audience of senior policy makers, practioners, police, community and local authority representatives.

She spoke about the model of work and methodology used by Forward Thinking in its engagement with Muslim communities and the government.

She also addressed issues of confidence building within Muslim communities, developing the leaders of tomorrow, facilitating access to government and local authority officials as well as working with the media to redress the balance in the portrayal of Islam and Muslims in the UK.
